We have made it through another week of the NFL offseason and it is time to take a look at the rest of the NFC West to see what is going on with the Arizona Cardinals<\/a>‘ division rivals. What is new with the Los Angeles Rams<\/a>?<\/p>\n Below are a few stories from the last week that Cardinals fans should know about the Rams.<\/p>\n Rams’ draft class ranked last in new metric<\/p>\n PFF has a new metric for the value of NFL teams’ draft classes. Using it, the Rams have the worst draft class<\/a> in the NFL in 2025.<\/p>\n Rams headed to Hawaii for minicamp<\/p>\n In a partnership with the Hawaiian Tourism Authority, the Rams are heading to Maui for mandatory minicamp<\/a>. head coach Sean McVay joked that they probably won’t get a lot of football done.<\/p>\n Rams were not targeting QB Jaxson Dart<\/p>\n The Rams traded out of the first round of the 2025 draft. Many thought they intended on selecting quarterback Jaxson Dart, but he was taken one selection before their pick by the New York Giants<\/a>. The Rams traded the 26th pick to the Houston Texans<\/a>. However, there is evidence that they never intended on drafting Dart<\/a>.<\/p>\n Jimmy Garoppolo the lone QB standing<\/p>\n Derek Carr announced his retirement from the NFL over the weekend. That news meant that Garoppolo, the Rams’ backup quarterback, is the only active quarterback remaining from the 2014 NFL draft<\/a>.<\/p>\n Puka Nacua tops in this receiving metric<\/p>\n Puka Nacua has been amazing for the Rams. Last season, his second year in the NFL, he was particularly effective from the slot.
