Regina Jackson, the mother, agent and business manager of Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels, has made it no secret that she\u2019s looking out for him on and off of the field.<\/p>\n
During a Sunday appearance on the Mother\u2019s Day edition of \u201cThe Pivot\u201d podcast<\/a>, Jackson opened up about Daniels\u2019 dating life and explained why she is protecting the 24-year-old from from other women. <\/p>\n \u201cThe whole girls comment was made first of all two years [ago], when he was at LSU,\u201d Jackson told co-hosts Ryan Clark and Fred Taylor, referring to a past interview during which she said her biggest fear was \u201cthem girls\u201d<\/a> trying to get to her son. \u201cIt was a question [I was] asked, \u2018What is your biggest fear?\u2019<\/p>\n \u201cThat should be every parents\u2019 biggest fear\u2026 men and women\u2026 because you\u2019re a public figure and your dollar amount is associated with your name. So you never know who\u2019s really there for you and who\u2019s really against you.<\/p>\n \u201c\u2026 The thing is, he doesn\u2019t know what he doesn\u2019t know and he knows football and he does it very well\u2026 but he doesn\u2019t know the business world,\u201d she said. \u201cHe doesn\u2019t know the predators or the vultures that could be out there. My son can date, he can live freely, make his own decisions,\u201d she said. \u201cHowever, with the relationship we have, he does value my opinion because when my kids were little, I did a lot for them and my kids saw that. <\/p>\n<\/p>\n \u201c\u2026 I worked too hard to allow anybody and at any moment to come in and just take it away. So I have a view of what I feel a good person is. But my son is 24, and he does have to go through things and he has to learn on his own. He\u2019s a great kid, I\u2019m thankful for him\u2026 He\u2019s not like some of these other guys. Bill Kostroun\/New York Post<\/p>\n Jackson went viral for seemingly hovering over Daniels on numerous occasions off of the field. <\/p>\n Many were convinced that she tagged along with Daniels on a date<\/a> with an unnamed woman while in Miami for the Formula 1 races last weekend. <\/p>\n Last month, Jackson was spotted in the background of a video<\/a> of Daniels dancing at the wedding of San Francisco 49ers\u00a0wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk and his longtime partner Rochelle Searight. <\/p>\n In March, Jackson made waves online<\/a> when she sat between him and USC Trojans women\u2019s basketball star JuJu Watkins\u00a0in the stands at the NCAA tournament. <\/p>\n Daniels discussed how his mother is protective over him. <\/p>\n \u201cNothing gets past my mama,\u201d he said during an interview with\u00a0Boardroom<\/a>\u00a0in December 2024. \u201cShe reads people, she doesn\u2019t want to put people around me that she doesn\u2019t feel will benefit me.\u201d<\/p>\n \t\t\t\t\t\t
