Another player is locked up under contract<\/p>\n

Woody Marks<\/a> is locked in with the Houston Texans<\/a> for the long haul.<\/p>\n

According to the Texans’ transaction list,<\/a> Marks and Houston agreed to terms on his four-year rookie contract, keeping him in Houston through the 2028 season. According to KPRC 2 Sports’ Aaron Wilson<\/a>, the deal is set for a slotted value of $6.001 million, which includes base salaries of $840,000 $1.065 million, $1.29 million and $1.515 million.<\/p>\n

Marks, who last season dazzled at USC, is known for his excellent ability to thrive in the receiving game out of the backfield while also using his brusing size, patience and decisiveness as a runner to hit his stride up the middle. After starting his career at Mississippi State, Marks transferred last season out west, where Marks he rushed for 1,133 yards and nine touchdowns.<\/p>\n

With over 135 receptions, Marks caught 47 passes for 321 yards for the Trojans<\/a> en route to an eight-win finish. For his career, Marks finished with 3,016 rushing yards and 31 touchdown runs, along with 261 catches for 1,564 yards and five scores.<\/p>\n
