If you’ve followed Bear Minimum Bets, you know Harry and Flower, my faithful chippies, are at a crucial stage of collecting.

The Chicago Bears are also doing some collecting as of late, collecting wins, and we hope they find another this weekend. Fall weather also provides for perfect football weather. And what has worked is the outside zone run and matching Swift up with LBs in the passing game. It seems Ben Johnson has found something.

With guards and tackles pulling alike, Swift’s number of 53.5 per DK seems highly attainable. Looking back on the Saints’ schedule, the most similar back they’ve faced would be James Cook for the Buffalo Bills. Well, let’s just say Cook went for over 100 on the ground while also hauling in 3 receptions.

Gimme the over.

<img fetchpriority="low" loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="1200" height="800" src="https://www.rawchili.com/nfl/wp-content/uploads/2025/10/Caleb-Williams-scaled-400xauto.webp.webp" alt="Oct 13, 2025; Landover, Maryland, USA; Chicago Bears quarterback Caleb Williams (18) throws the ball against the Washington Commanders during the third quarter at Northwest Stadium. Credit: Peter Casey-Imagn Images

Caleb Williams

Caleb Williams continues to blossom in Ben Johnson’s offense. Each week, he looks more comfortable, the line looks more comfortable, and he continues to ascend. Expect more of the same for Williams, with a passer rating of 98.0 through the first 5 weeks.

The Saints give up the 4th most passing touchdowns per game, with a secondary that has struggled this year. The Bears’ defensive coordinator, Dennis Allen, knows the Saints and their personnel quite well, having coached in New Orleans for 15 years across two separate tenures. Ben Johnson’s statements this week on what it means to have him going against his former squad and the advantage it brings should come to fruition on the gridiron.

Williams has a plethora of receiving options this season, look for him to continue to move the ball down the field in similar fashion as weeks prior. Please give me the overs.

Photo: Stephen R. Sylvanie-Imagn Images

Rome Odunze

Don’t expect these numbers from the books to stay this low for Rome Odunze for long. This week’s number comes in at 63.5, similar to weeks past. With last week being a one-off, due to Swift’s production vs Washington, expect Odunze to get back on the horse at home.

Odunze continues to show he is the Bears’ new #1 WR, surpassing D.J. Moore quickly. Williams continues to pepper targets Odunze’s way for good reason. With last week being the only week without a TD, I fully expect Odunze to corral his 6th touchdown on the year at home for a loud home crowd.

With winds expected to be a subtle 5 mph and temperatures approaching 60 degrees for kickoff, we couldn’t ask for better football weather.

(Riskier) Loveland 20+ yards receiving.
