SALT LAKE CITY \u2013 Former\u00a0BYU<\/a>\u00a0linebacker Kyle Van Noy<\/a> went on NBC this week and listed the top five toughest quarterbacks he\u2019s faced.<\/p>\n

In order from one to five, Van Noy named Tom Brady, Patrick Mahomes, Joe Burrow, Aaron Rodgers, and Josh Allen.<\/p>\n

He left his current teammate, Lamar Jackson, off his list, saying, \u201cI don\u2019t want to give him too much credit, right?\u201d<\/p>\n

However, in response to this clip coming out on social media, Van Noy said, \u201cNo way y\u2019all took this list like gospel right? Ain\u2019t no way. LJ on my team you slaps!!!\u201d<\/p>\n

Van Noy and Jackson have had their fair share of duels, both as teammates and as opponents. Jokes aside, it\u2019s almost guaranteed that the two-time MVP would have made his list as Van Noy has had almost nothing but high praise for the Ravens\u2019 shot caller over the years.<\/p>\n

As a 12-year NFL veteran who has played for five teams, Van Noy has faced many elite QBs.<\/p>\n

Some notable names left out of his top five include Russell Wilson, Matthew Stafford, Philip Rivers, Cam Newton, and Andrew Luck.<\/p>\n

About Kyle Van Noy<\/p>\n

After a standout career at BYU, Van Noy was drafted by the Detroit Lions in the second round of the 2014 NFL Draft.<\/p>\n

Following two and a half seasons with Detroit, the linebacker was traded to New England. Van Noy played the next three and a half seasons with the Patriots and helped New England win a pair of Super Bowls.<\/p>\n

After the 2019 season, the linebacker signed with the Miami Dolphins. The Dolphins released Van Noy after one season in South Beach and he returned to New England on a two-year deal. The 2021 season was the lone year of Van Noy\u2019s second stint with the Patriots.<\/p>\n

Van Noy signed with the Los Angeles Chargers<\/a>\u00a0in May 2022.<\/p>\n

The linebacker recorded 46 total tackles, 30 solo tackles, five sacks, one forced fumble, two fumble recoveries, and three pass breakups during the regular season. In Los Angeles\u2019 postseason game against the Jacksonville Jaguars, Van Noy had three total tackles, two solo tackles, and a pass breakup.<\/p>\n

After one year in Los Angeles, Van Noy joined the Ravens.<\/p>\n

Following his first season in Baltimore, Van Noy built his career totals to 541 total tackles, 363 solo tackles, 55 sacks, 14 forced fumbles, 10 fumble recoveries, three interceptions, one touchdown, and 35 pass breakups. He\u2019s played in 158 games in his career.<\/p>\n
