Alabama Football issued its second availability report<\/a>\u00a0of the week on Thursday evening.<\/p>\n

Four Crimson Tide players were featured on the initial report. Linebackers\u00a0Jah-Marien Latham<\/a>\u00a0(neck),\u00a0Qua Russaw<\/a>\u00a0(foot) and\u00a0Cayden Jones<\/a>\u00a0(ankle) and defensive lineman\u00a0Jeremiah Beaman<\/a>\u00a0(knee) are all out. Latham and Beaman are both out for the remainder of the 2025 season, and Russaw and Jones recover from surgeries to repair their respective injuries.<\/p>\n

New to the report on Thursday were three players. Tight end Danny Lewis<\/a> was ruled out, and has dealt with numerous injuries throughout the season. Wide receiver Lotzeir Brooks<\/a> was added to the report and listed as doubtful, while offensive lineman Geno VanDeMark<\/a> was added to the report and listed as questionable.<\/p>\n

The No. 4-ranked Crimson Tide (6-1, 4-0 SEC) will travel to play South Carolina (3-4, 1-4) on Saturday, October 25, at Williams-Brice Stadium. Kickoff is set for 2:30 p.m. CT on ABC.<\/p>\n

SEC Availability Report Policies<\/p>\n

Beginning with the 2024-25 athletics season, all Southeastern Conference schools will provide public reports on the availability of student-athletes to participate in each conference game in the sports of football, men\u2019s and women\u2019s basketball and baseball.<\/p>\n

Prior to a Saturday football game, an institution must issue the Initial Report on Wednesday by 7 p.m. CT and update the Availability Report once per day on Thursday and Friday (after the conclusion of practice and before 7 p.m.). On game day, an institution must provide one Game Day Update no later than 90 minutes before game time.<\/p>\n

Designated Participation Statuses\u00a0<\/p>\n

If an institution has knowledge that a student-athlete may not be able to participate in the upcoming game for any reason (including, but not limited to, injury, illness, suspension, ineligibility, or personal matter), the institution must accurately designate the student-athlete\u2019s participation status on the Initial Report as follows:\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u2013 Out \u2013 Will not play \/ 0% chance to play<\/p>\n

\u2013 Doubtful \u2013 Unlikely to play \/ 25% chance to play<\/p>\n

\u2013 Questionable \u2013 Uncertain to play \/ 50% chance to play<\/p>\n

\u2013 Probable \u2013 Probable to play \/ 75% chance to play<\/p>\n
