Chiefs vs Commanders Fantasy Football<\/p>\n

Patrick Mahomes is scorching right now, the kind of form that reminds fantasy managers why he was once the undisputed king of QB1 glory. The Chiefs’ superstar has been dialed in, rattling off four straight top-five fantasy finishes, each north of 25 points. Simply put, he’s cooking like vintage Mahomes.<\/p>\n

Kansas City continues to rotate its backfield trio of Isiah Pacheco, Kareem Hunt, and Brashard Smith, but Pacheco has clearly edged ahead. Before the starters were pulled in the fourth quarter last Sunday, he handled 61.3% of the snaps, a sign that he’s finally clawed his way back into reliable FLEX territory. Pacheco remains touchdown-dependent, while Smith is best viewed as a deep stash or low-ceiling PPR option. As for Hunt, it’s feast or famine \u2014 a true touchdown-or-bust FLEX.<\/p>\n

The Commanders are also hoping Terry McLaurin can finally return after being sidelined since Week 3.<\/p>\n

The Chiefs have found their groove offensively, lighting up the scoreboard over the past several weeks.<\/p>\n

After opening the season on a sluggish note with just 21 and 17 points in back-to-back losses to the Chargers and Eagles, Kansas City has flipped the switch in a big way. Over their last five outings, the Chiefs have dropped 22, 37, 28, 30, and 31 points, showing the kind of rhythm and explosiveness fans have come to expect from this offense.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, the Commanders’ defense has been springing leaks lately. They were shredded by the Cowboys in a 44-22 blowout last week and also surrendered 34 points to Atlanta earlier in the season.<\/p>\n
