The Tampa Bay Buccaneers<\/a> are coming off a much-needed win over a division rival in the New Orleans Saints<\/a>. The team is now set to enjoy their Bye Week as they heal up and enjoy a 6-2 record. It is not only the best record in the division, but one of the best in the entire NFL.<\/p>\n

Following the win, the Bucs saw their spot in ESPN’s Week 9 power rankings dip. They had been in fourth overall spot in the rankings, but now they find themselves in fifth.<\/p>\n

Within the rankings,\u00a0ESPN’s Jenna Laine was asked<\/a>\u00a0who was the biggest addition for the Bucs in the offseason. Her choice was an obvious one as she went with the Bucs’ first-round draft pick, Emeka Egbuka.<\/p>\n

She writes, “The No. 19 pick has been slowed by a\u00a0hamstring injury\u00a0while playing when the team has been without its other top three receivers (Mike Evans,\u00a0Chris Godwin Jr.\u00a0and\u00a0Jalen McMillan). But Egbuka’s 562 receiving yards are seventh most in the league, and all five of his touchdown grabs (tied for eighth most) came in the first five games. The rookie put together his best performance in\u00a0Week 5\u00a0against the Seahawks<\/a>, catching all seven of his targets for 163 yards and a touchdown.”<\/p>\n

Egbuka has cemented himself as the top target in the Bucs’ passing attack in 2025.
