The San Francisco 49ers’ defensive front is getting a much-needed boost ahead of their Week 10 matchup against the Los Angeles Rams. Defensive end Bryce Huff<\/a>, who missed the last two games with a hamstring injury, has been cleared to return to action.<\/p>\n Huff was limited in practice on Wednesday and Thursday but was a full participant on Friday\u2014the team’s final session before hosting the Rams at Levi’s Stadium on Sunday.<\/p>\n “Bryce is good to go,” head coach Kyle Shanahan told reporters on Friday.<\/p>\n Huff’s return comes at a critical time for a 49ers defensive line that has been hit hard by injuries this season, including season-ending ACL tears to Nick Bosa<\/a> and rookie Mykel Williams<\/a>.<\/p>\n “Yeah, huge need,” Shanahan said. “Bryce has had a hell of a year. He probably had his best game, his last one, versus Atlanta. And then we’ve lost a couple of guys since then, too. So, getting him back was huge regardless, but especially after losing some guys, it’s that much more important.”<\/p>\n In his first season with the 49ers, Huff has recorded 19 tackles (six for loss), six quarterback hits, four sacks, one pass defensed, and a forced fumble through seven games. His return should provide a significant spark to San Francisco’s pass rush as the team looks to keep pace in the NFC West.<\/p>\n Still, the 49ers’ defensive front isn’t fully healthy heading into this crucial division showdown. Alfred Collins<\/a>, Kalia Davis<\/a>, and Keion White<\/a> are all listed as questionable for Sunday’s game<\/a>. Collins (hip) did not practice on Friday, while Davis (ankle) and White (groin) were limited.
