There are rumors that head coach Brian Daboll has one, perhaps two feet out the door already, and they’ve lost two of the more dynamic players on offense to season-ending injuries in Malik Nabers and Cam Skattabo. So here is what we think is going to happen this Sunday at Soldier Field as the Bears take on the Giants:

GOOCH: 34-17, Bears over the Giants. While I understand the concerns that the Bears may suffer a let down in this game, as they’ll be without T.J. Edwards and their secondary remains banged up, and Jaxon Dart has looked good in his short number of starts, there is just too much to overcome here for a reeling Giants team that has secured only two victories on the season and suffered an epic 4th quarter collapse against the Broncos.

While the Bears know a thing or two about epic 4th quarter collapses, this depleted Giants team just doesn’t have enough to compete with the Bears in a road game. Caleb Williams takes four sacks, and Brian Burns lights up second-year left tackle Theo Benedet, but he also throws for over 300 yards and 3 touchdowns in another victory for the Bears. Rome Odunze gets back on the board with a TD and goes over 100 yards in receiving. The Bears pound the rock again with Monangai, as he goes over 100 yards rushing and gets a passing TD from Caleb. On defense, the Giants put up a lot of yards in the air, but stall out in the red zone repeatedly. Austin Booker notches another sack. For once, Chicago Bears fans do not have to hold their breath at the end of a game.

Josh: 31-28 Chicago. Dart lights up a depleted Chicago defense early while Caleb struggles, but Ben Johnson wins the war of halftime adjustments, and the team that has learned how to win the ugly ones pulls through at the end.

Jack R Salo: 16-9 Chicago. I think we see the pendulum swing back for both the Bears’ offense and defense. The offense put up 47 on a terrible Bengals defense. The Giants aren’t the Bengals. The Bears’ defense probably looks a lot better here against a rookie quarterback and an offense missing their two best playmakers. Pray for the Soldier Field concessions workers, because there probably won’t be much to keep fans in their seats here.

Sam: 27-21 Chicago. I don’t feel great about it, but the Giants are depleted, 0-5 on the road and headed for a rough offseason. That said, we know the Bears can get gashed on defense and Jaxon Dart can ball. I don’t know if a 6-point win is comfortable, but I don’t think this is a super stressful finish this week.

Lester: With the forecast potentially sloppy (wind/rain/snow), the Bears win 24 to 13 in another game that features the Bears’ rushing attack. I can see 200+ yards on the ground and some schemed up easy completions for Caleb as he has another efficient afternoon.

Gary: 27-17 Bears, another very good game on the ground from the combo of Swift and Monangai (or just Monangai if Swift can’t go), Caleb Williams has a 200+ yard day with a couple of touchdowns, whether those are receiving touchdowns or not, I’ll let fate decide. The defense forces a couple of turnovers off rookie mistakes from Jaxson Dart.

Hello, Chicago Bears fans! Well, coming off that thrilling and unbelievable game against the Cincinnati Bengals, what do…

[2070
7240,374,1483,232,1036,692,391,2493,256,7,519,31827,4126,56,6,2495,7402,3394,1799,42677
0":"post-511393","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-chicago-bears","8":"tag-austin-booker","9":"tag-bears","10":"tag-brian-burns","11":"tag-broncos","12":"tag-caleb-williams","13":"tag-chicago","14":"tag-chicago-bears","15":"tag-chicagobears","16":"tag-cincinnati-bengals","17":"tag-football","18":"tag-giants","19":"tag-jaxon-dart","20":"tag-malik-nabers","21":"tag-new-york-giants","22":"tag-nfl","23":"tag-rome-odunze","24":"tag-t-j-edwards","25":"tag-the-bears","26":"tag-the-giants","27":"tag-theo-benedet
["GET
