The Steelers<\/a>\u2019 winning traditions were recently blasted by the Los Angeles Chargers<\/a>\u2019 schedule release video.<\/p>\n

In 2021, the Chargers released their PowerPoint-styled schedule reveal, mocking their opponents in hilarious fashion \u2014 and ever since then, Los Angeles has released these annually. The Chargers followed with anime-themed schedule reveals in 2022 and 2023, as well as a 2024 reveal focused on The Sims.<\/p>\n

Los Angeles took a different route in 2025 \u2014 a Minecraft-themed schedule release to capitalize on the success of the hit movie adaptation that took April by storm.<\/p>\n

Complete with a chicken jockey movie reference, Sam Darnold leaving the Vikings<\/a> for the Seahawks<\/a>, and even acknowledging the recent George Pickens trade \u2014 the Chargers\u2019 release video spared no feelings, especially not those of HC Mike Tomlin and his standard of finishing above .500 every season.<\/p>\n

Chargers schedule release roasts ‘9-8’ Steelers:<\/p>\n

The Steelers, who will face the Chargers in Week 10 on Sunday Night Football, were symbolized by a \u201cFlint-and-Steel mine.\u201d Two Minecraft avatars, who appeared to be Steelers fans, entered and took two different tracks \u2014 one labeled \u201ccontend\u201d and the other \u201crebuild.\u201d Both led straight into a pit of lava, but before they met their fate, Mike Tomlin was seen standing in a cave system by two signs that read \u201ctrack ends in 9-8\u201d and \u201cWe do not care.\u201d<\/p>\n

Both signs were clearly directed at the Steelers head coach, who the NFL world continues to praise for his inability to coach a losing season despite a poor playoff record \u2014 as well as for his infamous \u201cwe do not care\u201d line.<\/p>\n

This segment was clearly symbolic of Pittsburgh\u2019s recent philosophy on whether or not to fully rebuild the team \u2014 and the Steelers\u2019 refusal to commit led both tracks straight to their doom. Another hilarious dig included an Aaron Rodgers-themed avatar taking the perilous drop.<\/p>\n

Clearly, the Chargers\u2019 social media team \u2014 or whoever is in charge of these schedule release videos \u2014 deserves a raise. But what\u2019s also evident is that Los Angeles will need to beware of the Steelers\u2019 wrath when Pittsburgh comes to SoFi in Week 10 of the 2025 season.<\/p>\n
