NFL midseason superlatives: The biggest busts so far<\/p>\n

USA TODAY Sports’ Joe Rivera and Chris Bumbaca dish out which players, coaches, and teams have been the biggest letdowns so far.<\/p>\n

The Cincinnati Bengals<\/a> are getting out of the jungle for a week and few teams need it more than them.<\/p>\n

After inventing ways to lose in consecutive weeks to the New York Jets and Chicago Bears<\/a>, the Bengals are one of four teams on a bye in Week 10. It gives the team a chance to step away from the football field \u2013 a place where tensions have begun to boil over.<\/p>\n

That especially rings true as Cincinnati’s defense remains nonexistent and the offense continues to miss its biggest star.<\/p>\n

There’s no telling when, or if, Joe Burrow<\/a> returns this season. It has left Ja’Marr Chase<\/a> and Tee Higgins<\/a> without their quarterback, although Joe Flacco<\/a> has filled in admirably.<\/p>\n

Offense certainly hasn’t been the issue for Zac Taylor’s crew, but a long eight games await these playoff hopefuls if they don’t turn it around soon.<\/p>\n

They’ll return to action in Week 11 to play the division rival Pittsburgh Steelers. For now, it’s a moment to get away. Here’s what to know about Week 10.<\/p>\n

Cincinnati is on its bye in Week 10, along with three other teams. The Bengals’ next game is set for Sunday, Nov. 16 in Pittsburgh against the Steelers in Week 11.<\/p>\n
