GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) \u2013 Packers fans have lots of thoughts after getting a first look on Wednesday night at the team\u2019s schedule for next season.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe first couple weeks aren\u2019t going to be the easiest but I think that based off the draft picks we made and the way we performed last year I think we\u2019re going to be pretty successful this year,\u201d said Packers fan Jared Widish.<\/p>\n

For the first time in the Matt Lafleur era, the Packers will open up the season at Lambeau Field. It won\u2019t be easy though as they welcome in the defending NFC North champion Detroit Lions. Week two is hardly any easier as they welcome the Washington Commanders to Titletown.<\/p>\n
Official: Green Bay Packers 2025 regular season schedule is set <\/a><\/p>\n \u201cI say let\u2019s just get right into it, and if it\u2019s home it\u2019ll give us the advantage and it\u2019s going to be a great year,\u201d said Packers fan Jay Young.<\/p>\n The Packers won\u2019t play an international game this season and also won\u2019t play on Christmas. However, they will head out to Detroit for a showdown against the Lions on Thanksgiving.<\/p>\n Advertisement<\/p>\n \u201cI love Thanksgiving games, it\u2019s a great way to spend the day, sit with family and enjoy it,\u201d said Packers fan Carter Helt.<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s as much as Thanksgiving as turkey and stuffing,\u201d said Young.<\/p>\n Another big game on the schedule is a Monday Night Football matchup against the defending Super Bowl champions Philadelphia Eagles. The Eagles eliminated the Packers from the playoffs last season.<\/p>\n The Pack will need to wait until December for their first matchup against the Chicago Bears.<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s going to be a win regardless, doesn\u2019t matter when we play them the Bears still suck,\u201d Helt said.<\/p>\n
