Former Buffalo Bills<\/a> tight end Quintin Morris<\/a> signed a one-year deal with the Jacksonville Jaguars<\/a> on Wednesday, according to Fox Sports’ Jordan Schultz.<\/p>\n

Morris signed with the Bills<\/a> in 2021 as an undrafted free agent. He spent that year on the practice squad before breaking onto the team’s 53-man roster in 2022.<\/p>\n

Morris has appeared in 45 games across the last three seasons for the Bills, contributing in the tight end room behind guys like Dalton Kincaid and Dawson Knox.<\/p>\n

At 26 years old, Morris joins a Jaguars squad which lost veteran tight end Evan Engram this offseason to the Denver Broncos<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The Jaguars currently have a tight-end room lacking much experience and production. Third-year tight end Brenton Strange leads the group after recording over 400 yards on 40 catches in ten starts. Behind him are other young tight ends who were signed this offseason in Johnny Mundt<\/a> and Hunter Long<\/a>, who Morris will most likely compete with.<\/p>\n

Morris, known more as a contributor in the blocking game, has three touchdowns on 15 catches and 146 receiving yards in his three-year career.<\/p>\n

As for the Bills, they are well-endowed at tight end with Kincaid, Knox, and a couple youngsters they like. They drafted Jackson Hawes<\/a> in the fifth round of April’s draft, and also have Zach Davidson who appeared in two games last year.<\/p>\n
