ENGLEWOOD, Colo. \u2014 The Broncos’ path back to the postseason will begin at Empower Field at Mile High.<\/p>\n
The road will also finish there, as Denver plays three of its final four games at home for the first time since 2015.<\/p>\n
Denver’s 2025 season starts at home, as the Broncos will kick off the year with a Week 1 matchup with first-overall pick Cam Ward and the Tennessee Titans. The Broncos will look to earn a Week 1 win for the first time since 2021, and they’ll aim to win their eighth Week 1 home game in their last 11 tries.<\/p>\n
Following the home opener, Denver will play at Empower Field at Mile High just once in the next 40 days amidst a long road stretch. The lone home game will take place in Week 4 on Sept. 29 as Denver battles the Cincinnati Bengals on “Monday Night Football.” The game will pit Bo Nix against Joe Burrow and represent a rematch of last year’s Week 17 thriller.<\/p>\n
Denver’s other scheduled prime-time home game is slated for Week 10, with the Broncos hosting the Raiders for “Thursday Night Football.” The Broncos last hosted “Thursday Night Football” in 2022 and have not played the Raiders in prime time since 2019. The new-look Raiders feature head coach Pete Carroll, quarterback Geno Smith and sixth-overall pick Ashton Jeanty.<\/p>\n
The Broncos’ other divisional home games are scheduled for Week 11 against the Chiefs and Week 18 against the Chargers. Denver’s matchup with Kansas City leads into a Week 12 bye and will give the Broncos a chance for a third consecutive home win against the Chiefs. The Broncos will look to defeat the Chargers at home for the sixth time in the last seven years to close the season.<\/p>\n
Denver plays back-to-back home games on two other occasions: in Weeks 7 and 8 against the Giants and Cowboys and in Weeks 15 and 16 against the Packers and Jaguars.<\/p>\n
The Broncos’ matchup against the Giants could feature the team’s first meeting against former quarterback Russell Wilson. Jaxson Dart and Jameis Winston are also among the Giants’ quarterback options.<\/p>\n
Denver’s last home meeting against the Cowboys came in 2017, and Aqib Talib’s 103-yard pick six punctuated a blowout win. The Broncos have won seven consecutive meetings against the Cowboys.<\/p>\n
The Broncos also hold a home winning streak against the Packers, as Denver has won its last two home games against Green Bay. Denver defeated the Jordan Love-led Packers in 2023 to kick start a five-game winning streak.<\/p>\n
The final non-divisional game of the season should offer Broncos fans a chance to watch former Heisman Trophy winner Travis Hunter. The Jaguars traded up to select the University of Colorado alum with the second-overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft.<\/p>\n
Denver will host the Arizona Cardinals in the preseason, and the date and time will be announced later.<\/p>\n
