Terry Bradshaw<\/a> issued a statement after concerning fans with his sudden absence from Fox NFL Sunday.<\/p>\n

During the Sunday, November 16, episode of the long-running football morning show, host Curt Menefee announced<\/a> that Bradshaw, 77, would not be on the broadcast.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cTerry Bradshaw is not with us,\u201d Menefee, 60, said. \u201cHe came to work sick this morning, so he decided to go home. He\u2019s not feeling well. We send him our love.\u201d<\/p>\n

Fox NFL Sunday cohost Howie Long added, \u201cWe miss you, man!\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tTravis Kelce was feeling fiery on a record-setting \u2014 though ultimately disappointing \u2014 afternoon for the superstar tight end and the Kansas City Chiefs. During the second quarter of the Chiefs game against the Denver Broncos on Sunday, November 16, Kelce, 36, was tackled to the ground by a group of four Broncos, including cornerback [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n

After skipping the show, Bradshaw took to social media to clear the air about his health.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cJust in case you notice, won\u2019t be on Fox today,\u201d the four-time Super Bowl champion shared via Instagram<\/a>. \u201cJust have a cold. All good.\u201d<\/p>\n

Despite his absence on Sunday, Bradshaw vowed he wouldn\u2019t be down for the count for long.\u00a0<\/p>\n

When one follower asked if a book signing scheduled for Tuesday, November 18, would go on as planned, Bradshaw responded, \u201cYes. Will be all good by then.\u201d<\/p>\n

Bradshaw has cohosted Fox NFL Sunday since it debuted in 1994. After news of his illness, fans filled his comments with well-wishes and lamented him not being on their TV screens as usual.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cYou\u2019ll be missed. You are why I watch Fox NFL, get well,\u201d one wrote.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Another commented, \u201cGet rest and speedy recovery!!! Need your commentary Terry.\u201d<\/p>\n

In February, Bradshaw explained that he already has his exit plan from Fox partially planned out.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cI told my wife before I left the hotel room, I was sitting there, I said, \u2018I\u2019ve got two years left at Fox. I\u2019m 76,\u2019\u201d Bradshaw told Denver\u2019s 104.3 The Fan<\/a> at Super Bowl LIX media availability. \u201cIt\u2019s a young man\u2019s game. I get that. Everybody wants their new [people].\u201d<\/p>\n

With only two years left on his contract, however, Bradshaw hinted he\u2019d like to stick around until Fox hosts the Super Bowl again, which won\u2019t happen until 2029.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Bradshaw added, \u201cI said, if we can get to the next Super Bowl, I\u2019ll be 80. I think that\u2019s time. That\u2019s pushing it.\u201d<\/p>\n

Bradshaw exclusively told Us Weekly<\/a> last year how Brady, 48, might have to find his sea legs in his transition to television.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cI want him to be great, and I think he will be,\u201d Bradshaw said. \u201cBut we don\u2019t know enough about him. Will we see a different side? Will he be funny? Will he be witty? Will he break the game down properly? I\u2019m pulling for him, because television is not easy. You can\u2019t lie to the camera because it picks it up.\u201d<\/p>\n

Bradshaw added, \u201cHe\u2019s the kind of personality that television takes to. He\u2019s quick, he\u2019s witty, he\u2019s funny, he\u2019s likable, he\u2019s knowledgeable. You\u2019re comfortable when you listen to him. You like him.\u201d<\/p>\n
