Darrin Porcher joins &#8216;Fox &amp; Friends&#8217; to discuss the search for the suspect who shot Jets cornerback Kris Boyd and Zohran Mamdani\u2019s meeting with the NYPD commissioner over crime policy.<\/p>\n<p>NEWYou can now listen to Fox News articles!\n  <\/p>\n<p class=\"speakable\">Brett Favre briefly commented on the shooting involving <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/category\/sports\/nfl\/new-york-jets\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">New York Jets<\/a> player Kris Boyd during the latest episode of his podcast.<\/p>\n<p class=\"speakable\">Boyd was shot and wounded early Sunday morning in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/category\/us\/us-regions\/northeast\/new-york\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Midtown Manhattan<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Police said he was shot in the abdomen and rushed to a hospital. (Kyle Terada\/USA Today Sports)<\/p>\n<p>Favre, who played for the Jets for one season, shared his thoughts about being out late as a famous football player.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;It might be a little bit safer in Green Bay, and you may not be out at 2 o\u2019clock in Green Bay,&#8221; he said on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=Hpoo9ccvtx8&amp;t=1885s\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">&#8220;4th and Favre.&#8221;<\/a> &#8220;New York \u2014 being out at 2 o\u2019clock is not a big deal. It\u2019s a big city. Lots to do. Lots of places to eat. Regardless if it was 2 or 8 o\u2019clock, it\u2019s sad we have to talk about this more and more these days.
