Going into their Week 12 bye, the\u00a0Denver Broncos<\/a>\u00a0have a 2.5 Football Power Index (FPI)\u00a0rating from ESPN<\/a>, which ranks 11th in the NFL.<\/p>\n

The Washington Commanders<\/a>, who will host the Broncos<\/a> on Sunday Night Football<\/a> in Week 13, are ranked 21st with a -2.5 rating.<\/p>\n

FPI is “a measure of team strength that is meant to be the best predictor of a team’s performance going forward for the rest of the season,” according to\u00a0ESPN.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n

“FPI represents how many points above or below average a team is. Projected results are based on 10,000 simulations of the rest of the season using FPI, results to date, and the remaining schedule.”<\/p>\n

So with that background in mind, here’s a look at how the league’s 32 teams stack up based on FPI going into Week 12.<\/p>\n

NFL FPI rankings<\/p>\n

The Broncos’ rating has improved from 2.2 last week, but the team’s rank (11th) is unchanged.<\/p>\n
