The Atlanta Falcons revealed its upcoming NFL schedule \u2014 with a subtle dig at former league coach Bill Belichick<\/a>\u2019s now-viral CBS interview.<\/p>\n

The Georgia-based football team made a Mario Kart-themed video to reveal which other teams they would be playing in the fall, sharing it via social media<\/a> on Wednesday, May 14. While teasing the Falcons\u2019 upcoming matchup against the Los Angeles Rams, an animated car drives past renderings of Belichick, 73, and girlfriend Jordon Hudson<\/a> sitting on beach chairs by a lake. They sat next to a sign that read, \u201cWe\u2019re Not Talking About This.\u201d<\/p>\n

The former New England Patriots coach has been dating Hudson, 24, since 2021 after they met on an airplane. Belichick was asked about the origins of their romance during an April appearance<\/a> on CBS Mornings.<\/p>\n

Hudson, who was sitting off-camera, subsequently interjected and said, \u201cWe\u2019re not talking about that.\u201d<\/p>\n

Both Belichick and Hudson have since shut down the backlash \u2014 Hudson was accused of controlling<\/a> the narrative \u2014 by claiming that CBS was not supposed to ask about the Super Bowl champ\u2019s love life.<\/p>\n

\u201cI agreed to speak with CBS Sunday Morning to promote my new book, The Art of Winning \u2013 Lessons from My Life in Football,\u201d Belichick said in a statement last month<\/a>. \u201cPrior to this interview, I clearly communicated with my publicist at Simon & Schuster that any promotional interviews I participated in would agree to focus solely on the contents of the book. Unfortunately, that expectation was not honored during the interview. I was surprised when unrelated topics were introduced, and I repeatedly expressed to the reporter, Tony Dokoupil, and the producers that I preferred to keep the conversation centered on the book.\u201d<\/p>\n

According to Belichick, the interview soon veered away from the approved topics, which is when Hudson jumped in to \u201chelp refocus the discussion.\u201d<\/p>\n

Instead, it presents selectively edited clips and stills from just a few minutes of the interview to suggest a false narrative \u2014 that Jordon was attempting to control the conversation \u2014 which is simply not true.\u201d<\/p>\n

CBS, meanwhile, denied claims that there were \u201cpreconditions or limitations\u201d<\/a> going into the sit-down. \u201cWhen we agreed to speak with Mr. Belichick, it was for a wide-ranging interview,\u201d a spokesperson for CBS News said in April. \u201cThere were no preconditions or limitations to this conversation.
