The Carolina Panthers<\/a> were without both of their starting middle linebackers for Thursday’s practice.<\/p>\n

One was Christian Rozeboom, who exited this past Sunday’s win<\/a> over the Atlanta Falcons with a hamstring injury<\/a>. Head coach Dave Canales expanded on Rozeboom’s outlook following this afternoon’s session, stating that they’re unlikely to have him in uniform for Monday night’s matchup with the San Francisco 49ers.<\/p>\n

“We’re putting him through the tests, making sure to see where he’s at in his availability for the game,” Canales told reporters. “We hate to put him out there for a limited amount, knowing how he plays\u2014the style, aggression, the physical nature that he plays with. We wanna make sure he’s healthy, first and foremost.”<\/p>\n

Canales then added that the team is not ruling out their other starting ‘backer, Trevin Wallace, just yet. Wallace did not play in Week 11 due to a shoulder injury.<\/p>\n

On a more positive note, quarterback Bryce Young (ankle) and wide receivers Tetairoa McMillan (ankle) and Xavier Legette (hip) were full participants on the day.<\/p>\n
