The NFL team used pop star Sabrina Carpenter<\/a> for inspiration when they announced their home opponents for the upcoming season on Wednesday, May 14.\u00a0<\/p>\n

In a video posted via TikTok<\/a>, the team used clips of Carpenter, 26, performing her song \u201cJuno\u201d on her Short n\u2019 Sweet tour, which has become a viral part of each show, to accompany each team on their home schedule.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cPlease Please Please buy tickets \ud83e\ude75\ud83e\ude75\ud83e\ude75,\u201d the Jaguars captioned the video, a reference to another one of Carpenter\u2019s songs.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The video received mixed reactions in the comments section, with one fan commenting, \u201cWhat does this even mean \ud83d\ude2d.\u201d<\/p>\n

Another wrote, \u201cThe Gen Z women who run this account are the best part of this franchise.\u201d<\/p>\n

The video even caught the eye of the Philadelphia Eagles TikTok account, who wrote, \u201cYou guys \ud83d\ude02.\u201d<\/p>\n

Jacksonville opens up the 2025 regular season on September 7 at home against the Carolina Panthers.\u00a0<\/p>\n

In the lyrics to \u201cJuno,\u201d Carpenter pays homage to the 2007 movie of the same name starring Elliot Page and Michael Cera.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cI know you want my touch for life \/ If you love me right, then who knows?\u201d Carpenter sings in the chorus. \u201cI might let you make me Juno \/ You know I just might \/ Let you lock me down tonight \/ One of me is cute, but two though?\u201d<\/p>\n

Perhaps Carpenter\u2019s most shocking \u201cJuno\u201d position came at a tour stop in Paris where she mimed an Eiffel Tower pose with two of her dancers<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n

In an exclusive interview with Us Weekly<\/a> in December 2024, songwriter Amy Allen, who cowrote \u201cJuno\u201d with Carpenter and John Ryan, said the idea for the song was \u201call Sabrina.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m so grateful to have her as a collaborator for moments like that, because I think being a pop songwriter, like, five years ago, if somebody had come in with that concept, that would\u2019ve been like, \u2018I\u2019m not sure people will get that,\u2019\u201d Allen, 33, explained. \u201cBut because she\u2019s so authentic and her artistry is so intact and she knows who she is, the second she started talking about her idea for that, I was like, \u2018Oh, we\u2019re doing this, it\u2019s gonna be great and it\u2019s gonna be witty and it\u2019s gonna be heartfelt.\u2019 She\u2019s such a fearless leader with ideas like that.\u201d<\/p>\n
