In case you missed it, Mike MacDonald\u2019s club finished the year with a 10-7 record just like the NFC West Division leading Los Angeles Rams. To add insult to injury, Seattle split the season series 1-1 with LA.<\/p>\n
Still, due to NFL tiebreaker rules \u2014\u00a0notably \u201cstrength of victory\u201d \u2014\u00a0Matthew Stafford\u2019s squad advanced while the Seahawks stayed home.<\/p>\n

Over the past few months, general manager John Schneider signed Pro Bowl quarterback Sam Darnold and star divisional rival wideout Cooper Kupp along with veteran wide receiver Marquez Valdes-Scantling and longtime Cowboys defensive end DeMarcus Lawrence.<\/p>\n
