Holiday Touchdown: A Bills Love Story<\/a> stars Holland Roden<\/a> and Matthew Daddario have strong opinions on which NFL team should get the next Hallmark movie treatment.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m biased. I say Cowboys<\/a> because I\u2019m from Dallas,\u201d Roden, 39, exclusively told Us Weekly<\/a> on Tuesday, November 18, of her vote if the franchise continues.<\/p>\n

Roden \u2014 who played doctor Morgan Quinn in 2025\u2019s Buffalo Bills-centered holiday movie \u2014 said she would geek out if former Cowboys quarterback Troy Aikman<\/a> or cornerback Deion Sanders<\/a> were in a Hallmark film.<\/p>\n

The actress explained that former Bills quarterback Jim Kelly<\/a> making a cameo in the 2025 film was a pinch-me moment for a friend of hers, whom she brought along to set.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf that happened to me [with Aikman or Sanders], it would definitely be like, \u2018Oh, whoa. Twelve-year-old Holland is freaking out right now.,\u201d Roden said.<\/p>\n

Roden\u2019s costar and movie love interest Daddario, 38, told Us he couldn\u2019t pick his hometown teams<\/a> because of their current seasons.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Giants aren\u2019t ready yet. The Jets don\u2019t deserve it,\u201d Daddario confessed, referring to the two teams that represent New York, where he grew up.<\/p>\n

Based on their current trajectory and the fact that he went to college at Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana, the actor voted for the Indianapolis Colts<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tHallmark\u2019s first look at A Bills Love Story serves as Damar Hamlin\u2019s acting debut \u2014 one that rom-com and sports fans alike are cheering about. \u201cHallmark Channel and the NFL are back on the field with a new holiday matchup,\u201d the voiceover teases in the official trailer for Holiday Touchdown: A Bills Love Story, which [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n

\u201cI think Indianapolis deserves to be there. That team\u2019s got some gumption,\u201d Daddario said. \u201cGive me an Indianapolis Christmas [movie]. I\u2019m about it.\u201d<\/p>\n

Despite being fans of their respective hometown teams, Daddario and Roden told Us they\u2019ll always have a soft spot for the Bills after starring in A Bills Love Story. (The first Holiday Touchdown movie, A Chiefs Love Story<\/a>, premiered in 2024 and focused on the fandom of the Kansas City Chiefs.)<\/p>\n

Holiday Touchdown: A Bills Love Story, which premieres Saturday, November 22, focuses on neighbors and family friends Morgan Quinn (Roden) and Gabe DeLuca (Daddario) as they team up to uncover who has been sending Morgan\u2019s Uncle Tommy (Joe Pantoliano) a Bills christmas gift every year after helping him 60 years prior.<\/p>\n

Gabe, who is the Bills\u2019 VP of stadium development, uses his connections to \u201cto pull off the surprise of a lifetime for Morgan and both their families that will make this a Christmas they\u2019ll never forget,\u201d according to the logline.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tThe NFL is teaming up with Hallmark for the second straight holiday season \u2014 but instead of highlighting a Kansas City Chiefs love story, the Buffalo Bills will instead get the rom-com treatment. Hallmark announced in March that their \u201cCountdown to Christmas\u201d lineup for 2025 will include another football-focused film: Holiday Touchdown: A Bills Love [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n

While filming the Hallmark movie in Buffalo, New York<\/a>, Daddario and Roden experienced a full-fledged tailgating experience at Highmark Stadium \u2014 and they will never forget it.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey say that these houses are in the shadow of the Highmark Stadium, and they really are,\u201d Roden told Us, noting the tailgates are \u201cfamous\u201d and lived up to the hype.<\/p>\n

Roden recalled, \u201cWe got to go to a real game where we drank out of a bowling ball. We helped clean up the ears of the man that puts mustard and ketchup all over him. So I was Q-tip Girl [for him].\u201d<\/p>\n

The Teen Wolf alum<\/a> revealed that she saw pizzas being cooked in a filing cabinet and a car with wings.<\/p>\n

\u201c[It was] bizarrely good food made in filing cabinets that they took out of some building in the 1970s,\u201d Daddario chimed in to add. \u201cI got to be honest, it\u2019s not the kind of quality you\u2019d expect, but these people know what they\u2019re doing.\u201d<\/p>\n

Now, both Roden and Daddario are rooting for the Bills \u2014 as well as their other favorite NFL teams.<\/p>\n

\u201cI like any team that has an enthusiastic fan base that aren\u2019t entirely exclusionary or entirely awful. And there are some teams out there like that,\u201d Daddario explained. \u201cThe Bills [are] not like that. So, this was very easy for me. Plus, they\u2019re from New York. I\u2019m from New York. It counts. It\u2019s within the region.\u201d<\/p>\n

He added with a laugh, \u201cIt was very easy for me to get behind the Bills. And this year, yes, I\u2019m all in on the Bills.\u201d<\/p>\n

Roden confessed she\u2019s \u201cnot a football fan\u201d per se, but told Us, \u201cI am 100 percent a Bills fan. It\u2019s hard not to fall in love with the city of good neighbors.\u201d<\/p>\n

She gushed over Buffalo, calling it \u201cthe city of no traffic\u201d and one that has cortado coffees \u201cgalore,\u201d which made her love the city even more.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou go into any coffee shop restaurant [and] there\u2019s a spirit of the Bills. Either by physical murals on the wall, flags in the front yard. It\u2019s like the Bills\u2019 election 24\/7 there,\u201d Roden said. \u201cI\u2019m from Dallas. [As] a Cowboy fan<\/a>, it\u2019s hard to top [the Texas team], and Buffalo did it tenfold.\u201d<\/p>\n
