Bengals"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The New England Patriots <a target=\"_blank\" https:=\"\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">secured their ninth straight<\/a> victory on Sunday, overcoming the Cincinnati Bengals with a score of 26-20.<\/p>\n<p>A large part of New England\u2019s win was due to kicker Andres Borregales\u2019 outstanding performance, making four field goals and hitting two extra points.<\/p>\n<p>Head coach Mike Vrabel was encouraged by Borregales\u2019 role <a href=\"https:\/\/www.patriots.com\/news\/new-england-patriots-postgame-quotes-11-23\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">in leading the <\/a>Patriots to victory.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHuge,\u201d Vrabel said on Sunday when reporters asked about the significance of Borregales\u2019 kicks. \u201cThose are great, and we appreciate what he\u2019s done. I think he has a lot of confidence there and in the operation.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe had gone through four or five different combinations on the field, and you lose linemen and now you have Farm (Joshua Farmer), (Cory) Durden, Morgan (Moses) \u2014 there\u2019s a lot of moving parts. So, give those guys credit for being able to jump in there and help us like it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"nesn-in-content-ad__copy\">Story continues below advertisement<\/p>\n<p>Typically, New England\u2019s offense is known for scoring touchdowns after touchdowns, but that wasn\u2019t the case on Sunday. The Patriots managed only one offensive touchdown, with another resulting from a Marcus Jones interception return.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>Without Borregales\u2019 standout performance, New England likely wouldn\u2019t have secured the win.
