Nico Collins is the Texans nominee for the 2025 Art Rooney Sportsmanship Award.<\/p>\n
The veteran wide receiver is up for the honor that gets presented on an annual basis to the NFL player “who best demonstrates the qualities of on-field sportsmanship, including fair play, respect for the game and opponents, and integrity in competition.”<\/p>\n
Houston nominated Collins, who was named a captain by his teammates earlier this season. Nico Collins has been a driving force for the Houston Texans’ offense in 2025, hauling in 52 receptions for 697 receiving yards, which ranks 17th in the NFL. He’s found the end zone 4 times and is averaging a solid 13.4 yards per catch, showing he remains both a reliable target and a threat down the field.<\/p>\n
