The Colts on Wednesday listed quarterback Daniel Jones (fibula) as a limited participant; the Colts conducted a walkthrough on Wednesday, so his participation was an estimation of what it would’ve been for a normal practice.<\/p>\n
Either way, Jones is expected to be ready to go for Sunday’s AFC South showdown against the Houston Texans at Lucas Oil Stadium.<\/p>\n
“He’ll be good to go this week,” head coach Shane Steichen said.<\/p>\n
“I’m all good,” Jones said. “I’ll be ready to go on Sunday.”<\/p>\n
Jones popped up on the Colts’ practice report last Thursday as a limited participant with a fibula injury, but was a full participant on Friday last week and played every offensive snap in the Colts’ 23-20 overtime loss to the Kansas City Chiefs.<\/p>\n
“It was just something that was kind of hanging over and realized it last week,” Jones said. “Just been trying to get treatment and make sure I’m in the best spot I can be.”<\/p>\n
Jones added “it’s been really good working with the trainers here and making sure we’re ready to go. We got a good plan.”<\/p>\n
Quarterback Anthony Richardson will not return to practice this week, Steichen said.
