The Arizona Cardinals<\/a> will have to face quarterback Brock Purdy for several more seasons in the NFC West. The San Francisco 49ers<\/a> and their starting quarterback agreed to a five-year contract extension<\/a> worth $265 million, keeping him under contract through the 2030 season.<\/p>\n The $53 million per-year average is the seventh-highest in the league. Purdy gets $181 million in total guarantees, including $165.95 million in the first three years.\u00a0<\/p>\n Purdy was Mr. Irrelevant in the 2022 NFL draft, the final player selected, and has had a fantastic first three seasons. Twice he led the 49ers to the NFC Championship Game. He is 23-13 as a starter in the regular season.
