The Miami Dolphins are getting their red-zone weapon back for the 2025 season’s final stretch.<\/p>\n

Darren Waller<\/a> (pectoral) is being activated from injured reserve and will play in Sunday’s home game against<\/a> the New Orleans Saints, NFL Network Insiders Tom Pelissero reported Saturday.<\/p>\n

The Dolphins have since announced the news. Offensive tackle Austin Jackson<\/a> (toe) was also activated from IR on Saturday.<\/p>\n

Waller, who unretired to join<\/a> the Dolphins in 2025, hasn’t played since Week 7 after suffering a pectoral injury. The injury halted Waller’s reemergence after he produced 10 receptions for 117 yards and four touchdowns in three games.<\/p>\n

Having missed the last four games, Waller’s return coincides with the Dolphins’ attempt to salvage the season.<\/p>\n

Miami has won three of its last four games and enters Sunday’s matchup against a struggling Saints team following its bye week. The Dolphins defense has elevated its play in that stretch and Waller’s presence portends to do the same for Tua Tagovailoa<\/a> and Co.<\/p>\n
