So with the 2025 NFL schedule officially unveiled earlier this week, how does the opposing quarterback slate look for the Seattle Seahawks?

Just like their schedule as a whole, pretty favorable.

An underrated advantage in Seahawks’ 2025 schedule

Of course, plenty could change between now and this fall.

Perhaps another quarterback has a Sam Darnold-like breakout campaign. Or perhaps a rookie like Cam Ward or J.J. McCarthy lights the world on fire like Jayden Daniels did last season. Or it could work the other way, with a top-tier QB having a down year or suffering a season-ending injury.

But to get a ballpark view of what the Seahawks could be up against this season, here’s a look at the projected starting quarterback for each of their 2025 opponents (except Pittsburgh, whose QB situation remains a mystery). A list of the Seahawks’ 2024 opposing QBs are also included as a reference point.

All the rankings below correspond to NFL.com writer Nick Shook’s end-of-season 2024 quarterback rankings, which ranked all 59 QBs who started a game last season. It’s a subjective ranking, of course, but it serves the purpose of providing a snapshot of how these quarterbacks stack up.

2025 projected opposing QBs

The Seahawks are only slated to play one game against a top-five quarterback from Shook’s end-of-season 2024 QB rankings (reigning AP offensive rookie of the year Jayden Daniels) and just four games against a top-10 QB.

They also have potentially three rookie QBs on the docket in New Orleans’ Tyler Shough (Week 3), Tennessee’s Cam Ward (Week 12) and Minnesota’s J.J. McCarthy (Week 13). And then there’s Pittsburgh, whose QB situation right now is a great unknown.

Overall, it appears to be a pretty manageable slate of opposing QBs for Seattle.

5. That’s about on par with what they’re projected to face this season.

Seattle also had the benefit of facing three backup QBs last year in Jacoby Brissett, Jimmy Garoppolo and Skylar Thompson. The Seahawks won all three of those games.

2. Josh Allen (Buffalo)
4. Jared Goff (Detroit)
8. Matthew Stafford (L.A. Rams)
10. Jordan Love (Green Bay)
13.
