With the regular season in the books and the College Football Playoff bracket<\/a> set, the Heisman Trophy is up for grabs. The ceremony is set for Dec. 13, and final On3 Heisman Trophy poll is out.<\/p>\n

The final Top 5 player rankings are out with conference championships in the rearview mirror. Four players will soon make the trip to New York for the ceremony, where the winner of college football\u2019s highest honor will be announced.<\/p>\n

The four 2025 Heisman Trophy finalists will be announced Monday, Dec. 8. Here is On3\u2019s final Heisman Trophy poll.<\/p>\n

1. QB Diego Pavia, Vanderbilt<\/p>\n

WEEKEND STATS: Idle
Vanderbilt<\/a> quarterback Diego Pavia<\/a> topped On3\u2019s final Heisman Trophy poll after the 2025 season. He showcased his dual-threat ability throughout the year as he helped the Commodores to a 10-2 overall record.<\/p>\n

Pavia ranked second in the nation with 4,018 total yards this year \u2013 3,192 passing and 826 rushing. He also found the end zone 36 times, including an SEC-leading 27 passing touchdowns. <\/p>\n

2. QB Fernando Mendoza, Indiana<\/p>\n

WEEKEND STATS: 15-of-23, 222 pass yards, 1 TD, 1 INT
After transferring from Cal<\/a> this offseason, Fernando Mendoza<\/a> helped lead Indiana<\/a> to a Big Ten title. It marks the Hoosiers\u2019 first outright Big Ten championship since 1945, and they won it by taking down Ohio State<\/a> in Saturday\u2019s conference title game.<\/p>\n

Mendoza won the game\u2019s MVP award as he threw for 222 yards and a touchdown, and he also hit Charlie Becker<\/a> for the game-sealing first down. Now, IU is the No. 1 seed in the College Football Playoff as Mendoza and the Hoosiers look to continue their impressive season.<\/p>\n

3. RB Jeremiyah Love, Notre Dame<\/p>\n

WEEKEND STATS: Idle
Jeremiyah Love<\/a> put together a standout junior season at Notre Dame<\/a> and comes in at No. 3 in On3\u2019s Heisman Trophy poll. He was a crucial part of the Fighting Irish offense en route to a 10-2 record, just missing out on the College Football Playoff.<\/p>\n

Love put up career numbers as he took 199 carries for 1,372 yards and 18 touchdowns. He also was a part of the receiving game, hauling in 27 receptions for 280 yards and three touchdowns in the air.<\/p>\n

4. QB Julian Sayin, Ohio State<\/p>\n

WEEKEND STATS: 21-of-29, 258 pass yards, 1 TD, 1 INT
Throughout the 2025 season, Julian Sayin<\/a> helped lead Ohio State\u2019s<\/a> high-powered offense as the Buckeyes went 12-1. That also put him in the Heisman Trophy conversation, and he checked in at No. 4 in On3\u2019s Heisman Trophy Poll.<\/p>\n

Sayin had an up-and-down go in the Big Ten Championship against Indiana<\/a> but still threw for 258 yards and a touchdown, along with an interception. He and the Buckeyes will now gear up for the College Football Playoff as the No. 2 seed in the field.<\/p>\n

5. QB Gunner Stockton, Georgia<\/p>\n

WEEKEND STATS: 20-of-26, 156 pass yards, 3 TD | 13 carries, 39 rush yards
As Georgia<\/a> made its run to an SEC title, Gunner Stockton<\/a> helped lead the charge. He got the job done with both his arm and legs to round out On3\u2019s final Heisman Trophy poll of the 2025 season.<\/p>\n

Stockton was also effective in the SEC Championship against Alabama<\/a>, throwing for three touchdowns in UGA\u2019s resounding 28-7 victory over the Crimson Tide. That also helped Georgia secure a first-round bye in the College Football Playoff as the No. 3 seed in the bracket.<\/p>\n

Following the 15-week sprint, the college football regular season is in the books.
