FRISCO \u2014 Dallas Cowboys wide receiver CeeDee Lamb cleared concussion protocol<\/a> and was a full participant in practice on Thursday, clearing the way for him to play on Sunday against the Minnesota Vikings<\/a>. <\/p>\n

Lamb said the concussion he suffered against the Detroit Lions last Thursday won\u2019t be on his mind when he returns to the field.<\/p>\n

\u201cReally, it\u2019s [about] staying level, just being positive about each and every opportunity you get, and just staying blessed,\u201d Lamb said on Thursday. \u201cYou have to go out there first and play your game and don\u2019t really think too much on it. I\u2019ve been hurt a couple times and I don\u2019t dwell on it. I hit my head a couple of times. I don\u2019t dwell on it. You have to move on. It\u2019s a part of the game.\u201d<\/p>\n

Lamb was on pace for his best game of the season before he was injured early in the third quarter<\/a> of Thursday\u2019s 44-30 loss at Detroit. He had six catches for 121 yards at the time. Lamb suffered the concussion on an incomplete pass from quarterback Dak Prescott in the end zone. Lamb hit the back of his head on the ground. He instantly raised his arms in a fencing response, which signaled a concussion. <\/p>\n

Lamb said he\u2019s seen video of the concussion many times since it happened.<\/p>\n

\u201cI can\u2019t say I wasn\u2019t knocked out because clearly I was,\u201d Lamb said, \u201cbut I remember everything.\u201d<\/p>\n

He added: \u201cIt was a surreal moment for me and myself and really just a quick experience. It was an opportunity for me to grow up. It was an opportunity for me that this game could be taken away from me at any given time, so give it the credit and my all that it deserves and my brothers it deserves and overall, just always be grateful for each and every opportunity I can step out there.\u201d<\/p>\n

Lamb also said he was initially frustrated by the concussion, considering how well he was playing. He was even more frustrated by it after the game, knowing the Cowboys had lost.<\/p>\n

\u201cI really just wanted to put myself and my guys and my team in the best position to win,\u201d Lamb said, \u201cand I feel like I was starting to do that but then it was cut short. So like now, just all about putting myself, again, making sure that everything about myself personally is good and I get back to feeling like myself and doing what I do best.\u201d<\/p>\n

Lamb is 145 yards away from recording 1,000 receiving yards for the fifth time in six seasons.<\/p>\n

Briefly: Cowboys left tackle Tyler Guyton and tight end Jake Ferguson didn\u2019t practice on Thursday. Ferguson was limited in a walkthrough on Wednesday with a calf injury designation. He did rehabilitation work in shoulder pads and a helmet on the side of practice during the portion viewable to the media. Guyton, unlike the previous day, did not do rehabilitation work during practice.<\/p>\n
