It features four prime-time games for the third-consecutive season, two on Thursday, one each on Sunday and Monday, and four 10 a.m. starts. The team will alternate home\/away games through the first nine games of the season before its first of two sets of back-to-back road games in Weeks 11-12. This season, NFC teams play nine road games, as the two conferences alternate the extra home game since the 17-game schedule was introduced in 2021.<\/p>\n<p>Aiming to return to the postseason for the 11th time in 16 seasons during president of football operations\/general manager John Schneider&#8217;s tenure, the Seahawks will play seven games against 2024 playoff teams, including home games vs. division winners Houston, L.A. Rams and Tampa Bay, and top-10 scoring offense Minnesota.<\/p>\n<p>Opening at home for the fourth-consecutive year, and the 11th time since the 2000 season, Seattle opens the season with NFC West play vs. the San Francisco 49ers on Kickoff Weekend (9\/7), before traveling to Pittsburgh (9\/14) for its first of four 10 a.m. kickoff starts in Week 2. The Seahawks have won 19 of their last 24 early kickoffs while also posting a 19-7 record, including playoffs, in the eastern time zone since 2018.<\/p>\n<p>The New Orleans Saints visit Lumen Field in Week 3 (9\/21), leading Seattle to a short week as it visits Arizona (9\/25) for Thursday Night Football.<\/p>\n<p>The Seahawks host Tampa Bay (10\/5) and travel to Jacksonville (10\/12) before hosting the Houston Texans on Monday Night Football (10\/20), where they hold an NFL-best 30-13 record on Monday nights. It will be Houston&#8217;s first appearance at Lumen Field since the 2017 season, and the 7 p.m. PT kickoff is the latest in club history.<\/p>\n<p>Coming out of a Week 8 Bye Week (10\/26), Seattle plays four of the next six on the road, beginning with a Sunday Night Football appearance at Washington (11\/2) on NBC. Following a home game vs. Arizona (11\/9), Seattle plays its first set of back-to-back road games of the year; at the L.A. Rams (11\/16) and at Tennessee (11\/23).<\/p>\n<p>In Week 13, Minnesota visits Seattle for the second-consecutive season (11\/30) followed by the Seahawks traveling to play the Falcons in Atlanta for the second-consecutive season (12\/7).<\/p>\n<p>Seattle closes out the remainder of the year with two-consecutive home and road games. Seattle hosts Indianapolis (12\/14), also making its first trip to Seattle since 2017, and face the L.A. Rams (12\/18) on Thursday Night Football on its second short week of the year. The 2025 schedule concludes at Carolina and at San Francisco, with dates and times announced later this season.<\/p>\n<p>Preseason and regular season games can be heard on Seattle Sports 710AM and KIRO Newsradio 97.3 FM. All preseason games will be televised on KING 5 with dates and times announced at a later date.
