Gang Green superfan Ray Hoffman revealed in a series of Facebook posts this week that he doesn\u2019t plan to renew his season tickets for the 2026 season, writing that the Jets are charging $2,600 for his one seat and citing the \u201ccalamity they have been putting out there\u201d as the reason for his attendance decision.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe captain is out no more of this crap,\u201d Hoffmann wrote in a post this week, with a photo of him saluting accompanying it.<\/p>\n

Then, two days later, Hoffman reiterated in another post that he\u2019s \u201cout as a season ticket holder which means I\u2019ll be watching on TV next year good luck paying all that money for nothing !!!\u201d<\/p>\n
Hoffman\u2019s posts occurred after the Jets fell to the Dolphins, 34-10<\/a>, at MetLife Stadium and dropped to 3-10 this season, with their latest defeat ending a promising stretch of games \u2014 three victories across five games \u2014 following a brutal 0-7 start.<\/p>\n In a third Facebook post, Hoffman claimed that the Jets doubled his ticket price.<\/p>\n Ray Hoffman announced that he isn\u2019t renewing his season tickets for 2026. Ray A Hoffman \/ Facebook<\/p>\n \u201cThe rep try\u2019s (sic) to cram down my throat \u201c\u201d you have a great seat !!\u201d Hoffman continued. \u201cWhat in the rain and snow and them selling tickets dirt cheap around me !!\u201d<\/p>\n The Jets\u2019 loss to the Dolphins officially eliminated them from the playoffs for a 15th consecutive year, while their defeat at the hands of the Ravens in Week 12<\/a> secured a 10th consecutive losing season.<\/p>\n There were plenty of promising vibes during the offseason when new head coach Aaron Glenn arrived, but those failed to translate to anything sustainable \u2014 to this point \u2014 on the field.<\/p>\n Starting quarterback Justin Fields struggled and was benched, while backup Tyrod Taylor helped make the offense functional at times before exiting last weekend\u2019s game with a groin injury.<\/p>\n Jets superfan Ray Hoffman is pictured.
