Week 15 has a packed Sunday afternoon window with five games, headlined by an NFC showdown with plenty of playoff implications featuring the Detroit Lions and Los Angeles Rams.<\/p>\n

The Lions (8-5) and Rams (10-3) meet in Week 15<\/a>, with Detroit looking to stay alive in the NFC playoff picture, currently sitting in eighth place in the conference. Los Angeles is holding onto the No. 1 seed by a slim margin over Green Bay (9-3-1), so this game is just as big for them. The Rams are leading two close races, one at the top of the conference and one for the NFC West title. The Lions are riding a two-game winning streak against the Rams.<\/p>\n

That’s right \u2014 Ward found Titans defensive tackle Jeffery Simmons over the middle for a one-yard touchdown, and with the PAT, Tennessee brings it within 14 with the entire fourth quarter remaining.<\/p>\n

Incredibly, that’s actually not Simmons’ first career receiving touchdown, having also snagged a goal-line touchdown on offense back in 2023 against the Jacksonville Jaguars.<\/p>\n

The San Francisco 49ers continue to pile on the Tennessee Titans in Week 15, as Brock Purdy finds All-Pro tight end George Kittle for his third passing touchdown of the day.<\/p>\n

It’s been an efficient outing for Purdy, going 17-of-22 passing for 235 yards and three touchdowns so far against the Titans, with an NFL passer rating of 150.6.<\/p>\n

That marks Purdy’s second game of the year with three-plus passing touchdowns, having entered this matchup with a 9-7 TD-INT ratio as he’s dealt with some health issues this year. Meanwhile, it’s the sixth touchdown of the year for Kittle, who’s also missed time this year, having dealt with a hamstring injury early in the season that landed him on injured reserve.<\/p>\n

Set up with a nice catch and run from Ricky Pearsall, Brock Purdy found WR Jauan Jennings for the pair’s second touchdown of the day \u2014 a 13-yard grab. With the PAT, the 49ers extend their lead, now up 24-10 over the Tennessee Titans<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Jennings only has two targets of the day, but he’s done the most of them, turning both of them into touchdowns. That marks Jennings’ sixth receiving touchdown in as many games.<\/p>\n

It has been an offensive battle in the first half of the Los Angeles Rams- the Detroit Lions game. Lions quarterback Jared Goff is 14-20 for 221 yards and 3 touchdowns. Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford has thrown for 192 yards and an interception to Lions defensive end Aidan Hutchinson.<\/p>\n

Lions wide receiver Amon Ra St. Brown had 9 catches for 128 yards and 2 touchdowns in the first half. Jameson Williams has 4 catches for 92 yards and a touchdown.<\/p>\n

Rams wide receiver Pukua Nacua has 5 catches for 99 yards, while running back Kyren Williams added 2 touchdowns.<\/p>\n

It’s an unfortunate end to the drive for Tennessee, after gaining some momentum in the second quarter following a 34-yard touchdown from rookie Cam Ward to TE Gunnar Helm.<\/p>\n
