It\u2019s clear that Bill Belichick wants to put an end to all of the drama concerning girlfriend Jordon Hudson.<\/p>\n

During an appearance on NFL analyst Ryan Clark\u2019s \u201cThe Pivot\u201d podcast Friday, Belichick, 73, further clarified what exactly Hudson\u2019s role is with North Carolina and gave the reason why she was copied on emails from the football program<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Belichick said that since there was no one running the sports information department for the team, he requested Hudson, 24, to be copied on the emails.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

\u201cIt would be personal opportunities. It could be a speaking thing, it could be an appearance on this, or talk about this, or somebody wants whatever it happens to be an autograph, or that type of thing,\u201d Belichick told Clark on the podcast. \u201cAnd so, she\u2019d kind of help organize that for me. <\/p>\n

\u201cOne of the first things that came out when North Carolina sent me emails saying, \u2018These people want to talk to you\u2026\u2019 I sent back an email, \u2018Can you please copy Jordon on these requests?\u2019 so she could at least filter through them because there was nobody.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe didn\u2019t have a sports information guy. Because all emails are shared publicly, that was taken as Jordon\u2019s running the sports information department. And that also led to a narrative, which is just totally \u2014 she\u2019s not doing it. I mean, there was nobody to help me sort it out, so I was asking her to do it.\u201d<\/p>\n

During the podcast, Belichick also broke down the reasons behind why UNC decided to forego being this year\u2019s subject on \u201cHard Knocks,\u201d<\/a> saying that it was simply not a \u201cgood fit.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThe \u2018Hard Knocks\u2019 thing, just for the record, \u2018Hard Knocks\u2019 is training camp. And we\u2019re not training camp,\u201d Belichick said. \u201cThat\u2019s not what we are, the drama of training camp, and who\u2019s going to get cut and all that. We\u2019re a season, and they don\u2019t want that.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere\u2019s film issues, too. But forget about the film issues. Just say you could straighten all those out. The Hard Knocks just didn\u2019t fit for us. That\u2019s the bottom line.\u201d <\/p>\n

Belichick\u2019s comments come just days after he claimed that<\/a> Hudson had nothing to do with UNC\u2019s football team during a brief interview on ESPN\u2019s \u201cSportsCenter.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThat\u2019s really off to the side, it\u2019s a personal relationship.
