{"id":604217,"date":"2025-12-16T03:15:11","date_gmt":"2025-12-16T03:15:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/nfl\/604217\/"},"modified":"2025-12-16T03:15:11","modified_gmt":"2025-12-16T03:15:11","slug":"jaguars-rb-reportedly-going-to-miss-time","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/nfl\/604217\/","title":{"rendered":"Jaguars RB reportedly going to miss time"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/jaguarswire.usatoday.com\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Jacksonville Jaguars<\/a> running back Bhayshul Tuten will miss time due to an injury.<\/p>\n<p>Tuten exited the <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/sportsdata.usatoday.com\/football\/nfl\/teams\/jacksonville-jaguars\/365\" data-autotag=\"0e187629-debe-49e8-9e02-83bd36ad3fcc\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Jaguars<\/a>\u2019 Week 15 win over the New York Jets with a finger injury.<\/p>\n<p>According to Mike Garafolo, Tuten will undergo surgery to repair the finger injury. He will miss a few weeks but \u201cshould be back for the playoffs.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>This season, Tuten has often shared playing time with fellow rookie LeQuint Allen in the RB2 role behind Travis Etienne. Allen&#8217;s playing time has often come in more obvious passing situations where he steps in to assist as a blocker in pass protection.<\/p>\n<p>On the year, Tuten has rushed for\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.pff.com\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">284 yards<\/a>\u00a0with four touchdowns on the ground. He&#8217;s also caught 10 passes for 79 yards with two more scores.<\/p>\n<p>For the time being, Allen will shoulder the weekly backup running back workload.
