That\u2019s why when PFF dropped their list of most underrated players on each team<\/a> I was interested who they would have for the Arizona Cardinals<\/a>.<\/p>\n I am not surprised on who they have, but am because I feel like PFF has been banging the drum for Garrett Williams.<\/p>\n ARIZONA CARDINALS: CB GARRETT WILLIAMS<\/p>\n \u201cWilliams operated as the Cardinals\u2019 primary slot cornerback in 2024, delivering the second-best PFF coverage grade (83.7) among qualifying cornerbacks in the regular season. He is set to once again man the slot in 2025 after allowing just a 25.9% first-down-plus-touchdown rate in coverage there this past season \u2014 tied for the seventh-best mark among 114 qualifying slot cornerbacks.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cWilliams also let up just 0.67 yards per coverage snap while working out of the slot, which was a top-five mark.\u201d<\/p>\n So, is PFF saying Williams is underrated by the consensus outside of Cardinals fans and PFF? I would probably agree with that sentiment.<\/p>\n Anyway you slice it, Williams is going to get recognized if he continues playing at the same level.
