FRISCO \u2014 The Cowboys<\/a> had a lengthy injury report for Wednesday\u2019s practice that included two significant new additions. <\/p>\n

Cowboys wide receiver CeeDee Lamb<\/a> missed practice due to illness, while cornerback DaRon Bland missed practice with a foot injury, according to the team report. <\/p>\n

There were two expected absences, as well. Defensive tackle Quinnen Williams and fullback Hunter Luepke are still in concussion protocol.<\/p>\n

Cowboys left tackle Tyler Guyton<\/a> also missed practice as he continues to work back from an ankle injury he suffered on Nov. 23 in the win over the Philadelphia Eagles. He\u2019s missed each of the last three games. <\/p>\n

Second-year tackle Nate Thomas has started in place of Guyton, though he didn\u2019t play the full game in Sunday\u2019s loss to the Minnesota Vikings. Thomas suffered a shoulder injury, forcing veteran Hakeem Adeniji into action. Thomas was a full participant in Wednesday\u2019s padded practice. <\/p>\n

Cowboys corner Trevon Diggs<\/a> was a limited participant due to knee and hip injury designations. There\u2019s a lot of attention on Diggs, a former All-Pro corner for the Cowboys, as the deadline for him to be activated this season nears. If Diggs isn\u2019t activated by Saturday he\u2019ll revert back to injured reserve for the rest of the season. <\/p>\n

There were mixed messages about why Diggs has yet to be activated over the course of the last week. Diggs has reiterated that he\u2019s healthy enough to return. Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said after the game that he wasn\u2019t healthy enough. Jones added to those comments on Tuesday, saying on 105.3 The Fan (KRLD-FM) that Diggs wasn\u2019t healthy enough to specifically play in the style in which he likes to play.<\/p>\n

Jones said Diggs will \u201cgo away from the scheme to make a great play. When he doesn\u2019t make that play, you can have a bad, bad, play.\u201d<\/p>\n

Diggs\u2019 health the remainder of the week will be worth following. <\/p>\n

Rookie corner Shavon Revel (knee), running back Javonte Williams (neck), corner Caelen Carson (shoulder\/hamstring) and safety Donovan Wilson (knee\/calf) were also limited on Wednesday.<\/p>\n
