Some bad news for Clemson\u2019s rival, South Carolina.<\/p>\n
Gamecocks starting offensive lineman Trovon Baugh will enter the NCAA transfer portal, according to reports.<\/p>\n
Baugh played in all 12 games for South Carolina as a junior this season and made 11 starts at right guard. Overall, in his three seasons with the Gamecocks from 2023-25, he appeared in 35 games with 19 starts.<\/p>\n
The 6-foot-4, 337-pounder earned Freshman All-SEC and Freshman All-America honors in in 2023, when he made eight starts at right guard before working in a backup role in 2024.<\/p>\n
Baugh came to South Carolina from Atlanta\u2019s Pace Academy, where he was an All-Region selection as a senior. He was selected to play in the Under Armour All-America Game and was ranked by ESPN as the 37th-best player in the Peach State and the 16th-best offensive guard in the country for the 2023 recruiting class.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Some bad news for Clemson\u2019s rival, South Carolina.
