However, it was the Dallas Cowboys who actually started the party … but now all of their cross-town compadres have caught up since the last time Jerry Jones’ Cowboys reigned supreme.<\/p>\n
Even though they haven’t appeared in the NFC championship game since 1996, the Cowboys social media pages – and players – made sure to congratulate the latest postseason win for their neighbors.<\/p>\n
Saturday at the American Airlines Center, the Dallas Stars hockey club defeated the Winnipeg Jets in a thrilling Game 7 overtime finish to advance to the Western Conference finals series.<\/p>\n
The Cowboys posted a hilarious clip of starting center Cooper Beebe in pure euphoria to celebrate the win.<\/p>\n

Beebe has been extremely invested in following the Stars’ playoff run this season. The Cowboys reposted a status where he was praising the Dallas goalkeeper Jake Oettinger, saying he’s the “best goalie I’ve ever seen.”<\/a><\/p>\n The clip of Beebe hyping up the Stars’ faithful originally came from Tuesday night’s 3-1 victory that put Dallas up three games to two over Winnipeg.\u00a0The Jets answered with a dominant Game 6 in Canada that forced Saturday’s Game 7 in Dallas.<\/p>\n Beebe was joined by nearly the entire offensive line room to watch Game 5 in a suite and cheer for the Stars.<\/p>\n This is the Stars’ third consecutive trip to the conference finals. They made the Stanley Cup Final in 2020, but lost in six games to the Tampa Bay Lightning. The franchise’s lone Stanley Cup title came in 1999.<\/p>\n Advertisement<\/p>\n The Dallas Mavericks, who also play in the AAC in downtown Dallas, reached the NBA Finals last season after a Western Conference championship series berth in 2022.
