It closes the book on a productive three-year run with the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.on3.com\/teams\/lsu-tigers\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">LSU Tigers<\/a> turning the page toward the professional level.<\/p>\n<p>Anderson revealed the decision in a post on Instagram. In his statement, the wide receiver reflected on the path that brought him to this moment and the people who shaped it.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEvery step, every grind, every sacrifice \u2014 none of this happens alone,\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/whalexander_\/status\/2002433309172023352?s=46&amp;t=p3F0DdOXH3fqNfZfXH6XKQ\" rel=\"nofollow\">Anderson wrote<\/a>. \u201cTo my family, thank you for believing in me before the world ever did. The journey continues. Next chapter.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Anderson spent the past three seasons in Baton Rouge and steadily carved out a role in LSU\u2019s offense. Over his collegiate career, he totaled 106 receptions for 1,341 yards and five touchdowns. All five of his scores came during the 2024 season, when he emerged as a reliable target and key contributor in the Tigers\u2019 passing game.<\/p>\n<p>More on Aaron Anderson, NFL Draft<\/p>\n<p>Before arriving at LSU, Anderson was one of the most decorated recruits in Louisiana. He starred at\u00a0Edna Karr in New Orleans, where he earned four-star status and established himself as one of the top prospects in the country. According to the Rivals Industry Ranking, a weighted algorithm that compiles evaluations from major recruiting services, Anderson was the No. 36 overall recruit in the 2021 class.<\/p>\n<p>At LSU, Anderson developed under head coach\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.on3.com\/rivals\/coach\/brian-kelly-132649\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Brian Kelly<\/a>. He refined his route running, versatility and reliability as a pass catcher.
