The NFL finally released its 2025 regular season schedule last week, allowing fans to circle the games they feel will be the most interesting.<\/p>\n

The Tennessee Titans<\/a> have a few intriguing battles on tap in 2025, but none will be more meaningful than the Week 7 tilt against former head coach Mike Vrabel and the New England Patriots<\/a>. The Titans got the best of the Patriots last season and will be looking to keep that streak going against what should be a much-improved Patriots roster.<\/p>\n

The anticipation for this match-up has been building since January, when Vrabel was announced as head coach. Vrabel coached Tennessee for six seasons, and many outside (and maybe within) the organization believe that the Titans made a mistake by firing him and not allowing him to rebuild the franchise.<\/p>\n

Now that the official date and time are known, tickets should be hard to come by for a good battle between two improving teams led by young quarterbacks.<\/p>\n

Even those outside the two organizations are intrigued by the match-up. Bradley Locker of Pro Football Focus believes this game is one of the 12 best revenge games in the NFL during the 2025 season. <\/a><\/p>\n

8. New England Patriots at Tennessee Titans (Week 7)<\/p>\n

As Mike Vrabel assumes the Patriots\u2019 head-coaching position, he\u2019ll have plenty on his plate to get New England back to a competitive team. Even in his first season, he won\u2019t totally be able to ignore his past with a trip to Nashville on the books.<\/p>\n

Vrabel spent six seasons coaching the Titans, amassing a 54-45 record with a 2-3 playoff mark, including a trip to the 2019 AFC Championship game. Following 2021, the Titans declined significantly under Vrabel, going 13-21 with zero playoff appearances and finishing no better than 18th in PFF overall grade. Tennessee fired Vrabel after the 2023 season, with many around the league believing that he was let go too soon.<\/p>\n

New England has swiftly rebuilt its roster this offseason under Vrabel\u2019s auspices, adding Milton Williams (91.7 PFF pass-rushing grade), Stefon Diggs (79.7 PFF receiving grade), Will Campbell (80.6 PFF pass-blocking grade) and Carlton Davis (74.5 PFF overall grade). Vrabel and the new-look Patriots \u2014 including former Titans Harold Landry III and Jack Gibbens \u2014 will look to send a message at Nissan Stadium.<\/p>\n

Now that the official date and time are known, not only will the anticipation continue to build, but the talk of revenge will start to fill the airwaves. One thing is for sure: tickets should be hard to come by for a good battle between two improving teams led by young quarterbacks, and Mike Vrabel will be on the sidelines.<\/p>\n
