The Tampa Bay Buccaneers<\/a> are entering a must-win game versus the Miami Dolphins<\/a> in Week 17, and wide receivers Mike Evans and Chris Godwin are on the injury report ahead of Sunday’s contest.<\/p>\n

Evans and Godwin have had injury-riddled seasons, as the veteran receivers have both missed significant time this year due to a multitude of issues.<\/a> The pair just can’t seem to stay healthy in 2025, and that has continued ahead of the team’s final road game in Miami.<\/p>\n

Tampa Bay released its latest injury report on Thursday<\/a>, which included Evans and Godwin both receiving did not participate designations. The Bucs<\/a> didn’t practice on Thursday due to the holiday, so the injury report is just estimations.<\/p>\n

Will Mike Evans, Chris Godwin play in Week 17?<\/p>\n

Evans should be good to go for Sunday, as the six-time Pro Bowler was listed for rest on the injury report. On the other hand, Godwin’s status is more up in the air.<\/p>\n

While Godwin was also noted for rest on the report, the 29-year-old is dealing with a fibula injury.<\/p>\n

Additionally, Godwin was downgraded on Thursday after being a limited participant on Wednesday<\/a>, which is never a good sign.<\/p>\n

Evans will likely suit up in Week 17, but there is still a ton of uncertainty surrounding Godwin. We’ll see how the rest of the week goes leading up to Sunday.<\/p>\n
