SMU running back Brashard Smith was selected in the seventh round and Utah State\u00a0wideout Jalen Royals was drafted with the No. 133 overall spot in the fourth round.<\/p>\n<p>Advertisement<\/p>\n<p>Certainly, a weapon like quarterback Patrick Mahomes can never have too many weapons, but it&#8217;s already a crowded wide receivers room in Kansas City. That&#8217;s why it&#8217;s so curious that <a href=\"https:\/\/bleacherreport.com\/articles\/25197316-2025-nfl-draft-day-3-picks-most-likely-make-immediate-impact\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:Bleacher Report&#039;s Damian Parson labeled Royals;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \">Bleacher Report&#8217;s Damian Parson labeled Royals<\/a> his Day 3 draft pick most likely to make an immediate impact.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The Kansas City Chiefs continue to improve the wide receiver talent around quarterback Patrick Mahomes,&#8221; <a href=\"https:\/\/bleacherreport.com\/articles\/25197316-2025-nfl-draft-day-3-picks-most-likely-make-immediate-impact\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:Parson wrote;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \">Parson wrote<\/a>. &#8220;This year, they took Utah State wideout Jalen Royals in the fourth round, a season after selecting Xavier Worthy in the first round and two years after drafting Rashee Rice.
