The Jacksonville Jaguars can no longer clinch the AFC South division title in Week 17. Here’s why.<\/p>\n

The Jacksonville Jaguars<\/a> will have to wait another week to clinch the AFC South title.<\/p>\n

The division clinching scenario for the Jaguars<\/a> in Week 17 included a Jacksonville victory over the Indianapolis Colts<\/a>, along with a Houston Texans<\/a>‘ loss to the LA Chargers.<\/p>\n

However, the Texans would defeat the Chargers 20 to 16 on Saturday night. Houston is now 11-5 on the season — tied with the Jaguars in the win column for the time being.<\/p>\n

The Jaguars will have to win on Sunday over the Colts in order to maintain a one-game lead in the division. But with a loss, Jacksonville and Houston will have the same record going into Week 18.<\/p>\n

Along with still pushing for the division title, the Jaguars remain in the mix for the AFC’s top playoff seed as well.<\/p>\n

To earn that top playoff spot, there are\u00a0three things<\/a>\u00a0that must happen over the final two weeks of the regular season.<\/p>\n
