Donald might be back on our TVs sometime in the future<\/p>\n
Aaron Donald isn\u2019t preparing for the 2025 season like some of his former teammates in Los Angeles, but he\u2019s staying busy in retirement. Since calling it a career<\/a> in March of 2024, Donald has pursued business ventures, spent more time with family and he\u2019s now eyeing the next chapter of his life as an actor.<\/p>\n During an interview with 93.7 The Fan in Pittsburgh<\/a>, Donald hinted at a future in acting, something he\u2019s expressed interest in previously.<\/p>\n \u201cEven me pursuing films and trying to get into the acting world, it\u2019s a grind, it\u2019s non-stop work. Long meetings but it\u2019s going to pay off,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n Donald didn\u2019t share any specifics about any projects he\u2019s working on, but he sounds committed to trying his hand at being an actor. And he already has a little bit of experience after making a cameo on the show \u201cMagnum PI\u201d<\/a> while in Hawaii six years ago.<\/p>\n As for football, it\u2019s safe to say he\u2019s not returning to the NFL. He\u2019s said countless times how satisfied he is with his career and his decision to retire, once again making it clear that he has no interest in taking the field again.<\/p>\n There are things he misses from the game, like the time spent with teammates, but he still doesn\u2019t miss playing.<\/p>\n \u201cI was ready for it,\u201d Donald said of retirement. \u201cA lot of people always ask me, \u2018Do you miss playing?\u2019 I don\u2019t miss playing. You miss things from the game, right? You miss being in the meeting room with the fellas, cracking jokes in the locker room, more the camaraderie with your teammates. As far as playing football and things like that, I don\u2019t miss it. I don\u2019t even have the passion or excitement to want to play football. I will always love football, but once you lose the passion to put the work in and play the game, that\u2019s when it was time for me to walk away.\u201d<\/p>\n
