Seventeen weeks into the 2025 NFL season, the\u00a0Denver Broncos<\/a>\u00a0have a 2.8 Football Power Index (FPI)\u00a0rating from ESPN<\/a>, which ranks tenth in the NFL.<\/p>\n

The Los Angeles Chargers, who will travel to Denver in Week 18, are ranked 24th with a -3.9 FPI rating.<\/p>\n

FPI is “a measure of team strength that is meant to be the best predictor of a team’s performance going forward for the rest of the season,” according to\u00a0ESPN.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n

“FPI represents how many points above or below average a team is. Projected results are based on 10,000 simulations of the rest of the season using FPI, results to date, and the remaining schedule.”<\/p>\n

So with that background in mind, here’s a look at how the league’s 32 teams stack up based on FPI going into Week 18.<\/p>\n

NFL FPI rankings<\/p>\n

Denver’s rating has increased from 2.6 since last week, but the team dropped one spot in the rankings.<\/p>\n
