Denver Broncos<\/a> wide receiver Courtland Sutton acknowledges that this is the first time the Broncos<\/a> have won the AFC West since he was drafted in 2018. However, he knows there are bigger things in store.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s one of those tricky things,” Sutton said after practice on Wednesday. “People keep reminding me because it\u2019s my first time doing it and I do acknowledge that part of it, but it\u2019s one of those things that [Offensive Coordinator Joe] Lombardi said it the best when we met with him on Monday, ‘It\u2019s one of those things that is an accomplishment, but it\u2019s one of those bitter-sweet ones to where you continue to win and the ultimate goal is to win the whole thing.'”<\/p>\n

The Broncos<\/a> have their sights clearly set on where 2025 began: Santa Clara, California, for Super Bowl LX. Winning the division is special, but if Denver can’t capitalize, “it’s just another shirt,” Sutton said. “You win the whole thing and that becomes another shirt<\/a>. It is part of the journey. If you lose, it becomes a reminder \u2014 if it\u2019s the only shirt you have and you end up losing, it just becomes a reminder that you didn\u2019t finish it all.”<\/p>\n

For the Broncos<\/a>, winning the AFC West only checks one box.<\/p>\n

“You don\u2019t even give it the 24-hour rule like winning a game,” said Sutton of winning the AFC West. “You acknowledge it and say, \u2018OK, we checked that box.\u2019 Then you have to move on to the next one because there is more ahead. I know all the guys in that locker room will tell you that their goals are bigger than winning the AFC West.\u201d<\/p>\n

The goals are clear. The sights are set. Now Denver has to go get them.<\/p>\n
