If Caitlin Clark is looking for a New Year\u2019s Resolution, perhaps she should start with making better decisions on which teams to root for in the NFL.<\/p>\n

The Indiana Fever star and face of the WNBA is a diehard Kansas City Chiefs fan. Clark\u2019s father, brother and numerous cousins were Chiefs fans<\/a>, which made her rooting allegiance easy as a child.<\/p>\n

Of course, with the Chiefs being eliminated from the playoffs, Clark will need a different team to cheer for in the playoffs. In an appearance on The New Heights podcast with Jason Kelce and Travis Kelce, the hosts tried to figure out Clark\u2019s rooting interest in this year\u2019s playoffs.<\/p>\n

Needless to say, Clark will not be pulling for the Buffalo Bills<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Jason and Travis Kelce playfully suggested that Clark could pull for the Bills. She was quick to shut that idea down.<\/p>\n

\u201cI hate the Bills,\u201d Clark said while giving a double-thumbs down. \u201cUgh.\u201d<\/p>\n

As a Chiefs fan, it\u2019s understandable that she wouldn\u2019t cheer for the Bills in the postseason. The Chiefs and Bills have had one of the best rivalries in the NFL since 2020.<\/p>\n

Clark did, however, reveal the team she will eventually be cheering for in the playoffs. She\u2019s pulling for the New England Patriots, the other AFC East team in the playoffs.<\/p>\n

\u201cHonestly, I\u2019m a Drake Maye fan,\u201d Clark added<\/a>. \u201cI think he\u2019s been incredible, and I think the Patriots are\u2026 I\u2019ll probably be pulling for the Patriots.\u201d<\/p>\n

Maye is an MVP contender this season after helping to lead the Patriots to a 13-3 record through 17 weeks. His development and a historically easy schedule have helped New England\u2019s turnaround this season. Per Pro Football Reference, New England has played the tenth-easiest schedule of any team since the AFL-NFL merger in 1970.<\/p>\n

In the playoffs, the Patriots will have a chance to silence the doubters who believe their record is due to the competition they faced this season.
