FRISCO \u2014 The Cowboys<\/a>\u2019 two running backs, starter Javonte Williams<\/a> (shoulder\/neck) and backup Malik Davis (eye\/calf), didn\u2019t practice on Thursday.<\/p>\n

It could open the door for rookie Jaydon Blue, who\u2019s been inactive the last eight games, to start or play in Sunday\u2019s regular season finale against the Giants.<\/p>\n

Blue has played in just four games, gaining 65 yards on 22 carries and making one catch for five yards. <\/p>\n

The injuries will finally give him a chance, in a full game, to showcase his skills.<\/p>\n

\u201cYeah, I think with any of these guys, if you have the ability to kind of add some plays to the cut up that you\u2019re gonna watch and evaluate the offseason, I think that that\u2019s positive,\u201d offensive coordinator Klayton Adams said Thursday. \u201cI think for us and it\u2019s a positive thing for them because otherwise you\u2019re projecting and if we can get him some plays, I don\u2019t know whether that\u2019s gonna end up happening or not, but anybody that we\u2019re were able to put plays in that cut up for the off season, you feel like you have more of an idea of what you\u2019re dealing with moving forward. I think that makes you, when it gives you more of an educated opinion, you know, as you\u2019re making decisions.\u201d<\/p>\n

Cornerback Shavon Revel<\/a> (concussion\/neck) and guard T.J. Bass (knee) didn\u2019t practice. <\/p>\n

Tight end Jake Ferguson<\/a>, who missed practice with a calf issue, was limited in practice on Thursday. Wide receiver Ryan Flournoy (knee) and left tackle Tyler Smith (knee) were full participants in practice on Thursday after being limited the day before.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s unknown if Ferguson, Flournoy and Smith will play on Sunday regardless of their health status.<\/p>\n

Defensive tackle Perrion Winfrey missed practice on Wednesday with an excused absence. He practiced fully on Thursday. <\/p>\n

\"Dallas<\/a>Cowboys\u2019 Joe Milton is staying ready as opportunity looms in finale against Giants<\/a><\/p>\n

Dak Prescott is scheduled to start, but with the Cowboys and Giants both eliminated already, there\u2019s a good chance Milton will see the field Sunday.<\/p>\n

With one game remaining, the Cowboys\u2019 defense has allowed more than 6,000 yards and a franchise-record 477 points.<\/p>\n
